Press Release 03.03.08 Join Planned Parenthood for Sex Ed Then and Now Tomorrow Night!
(St Paul, MN)- Join Planned Parenthood as we examine sex ed in American culture and talk about the need for comprehensive sex education for Minnesota's young people. The evening will feature vintage sex education films, PPMNS Teen Council members speaking to what's happening in today's classrooms and PPMNS President and CEO Sarah Stoesz outlining sex ed as a PPMNS legislative priority.
The evening will be emceed by Senator Scott Dibble (DFL).
PPMNS is working in coalition to pass the Responsible Family Life and Sexuality Education bill, sponsored by Rep. Neva Walker and Sen. Sandy Pappas. "PPMNS is working with many other organizations to make sure that sex ed in Minnesota is what parents expect it to be, comprehensive and fact based," said PPMNS President and CEO Sarah Stoesz.
