Governor Rounds Signs Divisive Sonogram Bill Into Law

“Yesterday, Governor Rounds signed into law legislation that mandates physicians ask patients if they want to view ultrasounds prior to obtaining an abortion.
These decisions are best made between women and their doctors, not by legislators in Pierre,” Looby said. “At a time when South Dakotans are looking for concrete, common sense solutions, the Governor is mandating even more restrictions in a state that already has some of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country,” said Looby.....
